Working Visa (Kitas)
A working Kitas allows you to work for and earn money from an Indonesian company. The role and specific duties must be in accordance with those designated by the Labour Department.

1 year visa :
- IDR 14,500,000 / USD 1,200 – 30 days.
2 years visa :
- IDR 20,000,000 / USD 2,400 – 30 days.

With this visa, you CAN :
- Work for and earn money from an Indonesian company.
- Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
- Bring eligible members of your family.
- Travel to and from and live in Indonesia as long as your permit is valid.
With this visa, you CAN NOT :
- Stay in Indonesia after your visa expires.
- Perform work that is not in accordance with your job description.

Visa Validity
- This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.
Document Requirements
- Passport that is valid for at least 18 (eighteen) months.
- A recent colour photograph.
- A personal bank statement showing a minimum equivalent amount of USD $2000. The statement must cover the last 3 months and include your name, the date, and the account balance.
- Indonesian company formation documents.
- ITK/Permit Number (Applying from within Indonesia).
Additional Requirements for Working KITAS Under Own Sponsorship:
- ID card of accompanying local workers (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia/TKI).
- Salary amount.
- Work location and confirmation of office presence if the location is outside the company’s registered address.
- Employment contract.
- WLKP (Mandatory Labor Reporting) account information.

What if my visa expires whilst the passport and visa is in immigration?
As long as your visa has not expired before it is submitted to immigration, you will not be charged any overstay fee.
Will I get my passport back the same day as I do the biometrics?
No, the process will continue. We will collect your passport and return to you once it is completed.
What is an overstay, and how much does it cost?
An overstay is when you stay for any length of time over your visa expiry date. Immigration or customs will charge you 1,000,000.00 IDR for every day you stay longer than your visa allows.
Is my passport safe?
Absolutely, your passport is safely with immigration during processing.
