Ex-Indonesian Citizen Visa

A person who was previously an Indonesian and has acquired citizenship of another country, who will stay for 1 year, 2 years,  5 years or 10 years in Indonesia by fulfilling the immigration guarantee.

E32C/E32D - Ex-Indonesian Citizen Visa

This visa is for former Indonesian citizens who have acquired foreign citizenship and intend to reside in Indonesia for 1 or 2 years.

1 year

  • IDR 12,750,000 – Regular.
  • IDR 15,250,000 – Priority.

2 years 

  • IDR 16,250,000 – Regular.
  • IDR 18,250,000 – Priority.

Stay

  • 1 year, or 2 years

Processing Time

  • Regular takes up to 14 business days.
  • Priority takes up to 7 business days.

With this visa, you CAN

  • Conduct activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.
  • Travel to and from Indonesia.
  • Report on the compliance of commitments within 90 days after the date of entry.

With this visa, you CAN NOT

  • Stay in Indonesia after your visa expires.

Visa Validity

  • This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.

Document Requirements

  • Passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
  • A recent color photograph.
  • A personal bank statement showing a minimum equivalent amount of USD $2000. The statement must cover the last 3 months and include your name, the date, and the account balance.
  • Documents that prove the applicant has been an Indonesian citizen such as:
    • Identity card (KTP);
    • Birth certificate;
    • Family card (KK);
    • Passport of the Republic of Indonesia;
    • Diploma, or
    • Land certificate.

Additional Requirements

Ex-Indonesian 1 year (Applying from outside Indonesia):

  • Statement of commitment to purchase one of the following:

    1. Indonesian Government bonds of at least US $10,000.
    2. Shares in listed companies in Indonesia of at least US $10,000.
    3. Mutual funds in publicly listed companies in Indonesia of at least US $10,000.
  • These obligations must be fulfilled no later than 90 days after the ITAS is granted.

Ex-Indonesian 1 and 2 years (Applying from within Indonesia)

  •  Statement of commitment to purchase one of the following:
    1. Indonesian Government bonds of at least US $15,000.
    2. Shares in listed companies in Indonesia of at least US $15,000.
    3. Mutual funds in publicly listed companies in Indonesia of at least US $15,000.
  • These obligations must be fulfilled no later than 90 days after the ITAS is granted.
NOTE:
  • Please be aware that international bank transfers can take up to 5 business days to clear in Bali.
  • Please be aware that business day does not include public holidays and weekends.
  • Processing of your application will commence only after the funds have successfully cleared into our account.
